A goalless second half made it impossible for the Bloods to record a victory against Old Mentonians. The Ressies scored a comfortable victory, while the U/19s went down to Marcellin.

After a tight tussle in the first quarter, the boys got into the right rhythm in the second stanza, kicking four goals. But then the drought set in as a determined home side made us fight hard for every possession. They made is chase all day and we had to resort to their style of game. Lachie Treverton and Shak were solid all day, while Tim Witherow and Brodie Steele tried hard in defence all day.
