Another full day awaits us at PP this Saturday with all teams being at home. The bar will be open at 12 noon and the infamous half time luncheon will be happening again ensuring the masses don’t go thirsty or hungry. We look forward to seeing you all there for another great day of Haileybury Football.

The U/19s kick things off with a 9.20 start when they host visitors Fitzroy. The lads should be refreshed after a bye last weekend and with the addition of a few Year 12 boys, they should go in with confidence.

At 10am the Hearts will take on Beaumaris and will be looking to carry on their good form from last weekend. The girls are getting a reputation for playing hard but fair and that will take them a long way in a game which, on paper anyway, looks like a great battle.

The Ressies and Seniors are up against top of the table Old Scotch. Both teams can cause an upset with an approach that is focused on playing four quarters of consistent football. Our best is up there with anyone in the competition but we need to ensure we bring it every week and for the four quarters.

On the 18th of May, we will be having a big day of reunions. The 1969 First XVIII, the 1989 Seniors and Reserves and the 1978 U/19s teams will all be celebrating their glorious victories in Grand Finals. Come along and hear just how good these teams were.

Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday at some stage.
