Daniel Ward - Senior Men's Coach
Daniel has coached our Men's Senior Eighteen since 2017, immediately leading the team to the C-Grade Premiership and then showing resilience post-Covid to lead the team to the B-Grade Premiership in 2022. He demonstrates great values in and around the club and teaches our players much more than on-field football skills and strategies. His work in developing a young team has paid off and knowing that we defeated 6 different teams in A-Grade last year will give us confidence in 2024.
David Lappage - Senior Women's Coach
David comes on board as coach of our Women's team in 2024. Having previously coached the OHAFC Under 19's from 2007-2009, the Senior Men in 2010-2011 and the school First XVIII from 2012-2019, he is looking forward to coaching senior girls for the first time. A teacher at the school and having coached the Girl's 2nds over the past two years, he is already making an impact in enticing past students down to the club to continue playing football and representing the mighty Hearts.
David Connell- Senior Men's Reserves Coach
David is an OHAFC Life Member having played 197 games. He is a former club captain, triple Premiership player, dual Best and Fairest winner, member of the Team of the Century and represented the VAFA on multiple occasions. David is a passionate supporter of the OHAFC and having been involved with the team for such a long stint is very excited to lead the new generation of club newcomers. A Runner's Up in 2023, David will be doing his utmost to go one better in 2024.
Anthony Wright - Under 19's Coach
Anthony Wright, brings a natural talent and a strong commitment to developing young players at all levels. A former OHAFC player, Wrighty's deep connection to the club, having started his football journey in our U19 program, gives him a unique understanding of the vital role U19 coaches play in nurturing the future of our club and embedding players in our culture. A teacher by profession, Wrighty possesses the perfect attributes to guide and mentor out young men.
