The OHAFC was founded in 1961. Over sixty years later we are a football club offering recreational football for both men and women. There are three men's teams, with the Seniors playing in the VAFA's Premier A Section. Most of our players went to Haileybury but it is not a prerequisite. We like to play an exciting brand of football, built on confidence with our team mates, the coaching staff and the broader committee. There is a wealth of experience throughout the team, with a good blend of youth coming through from the U19s.
The Senior Coach, now into his eighth year, is former Melbourne player Daniel Ward, while Jeremy Bourke coaches the Reserves and former Senior captain and Best and Fairest winner David Connell is in charge of the U19s. Bredie Seccull is the current Senior captain and is supported by a strong leadership group including vice-captain Brodie Steele. We pride ourselves on our culture and the behavioural values that will ensure the club is successful both on and off the field.
